Check your landscaping

•Burglars take advantage of the cover provided by a well-placed tree or bush near your garage door or window.

•Make sure neighbours and passers-by can see everything going on near your garage by keeping plants and hedges no higher than 50cms and tree canopies higher than 1.5 metres.

•Planting small thorny shrubs under garage windows can discourage burglars.

•Like for a shed illuminate the area around your garage with dusk till dawn light.
